  • Re: Concerning the Beomaster 800 on Lauritz.com

They have updated all the photos and now all is O.K. The palisander (rosewood) finish is really beautiful and its condition more than correct. However no bid for me this month, I had my brakes just remade and I have my catalytic converter to be replaced on my car. I hope the happy bidder /winner will be a Beoworld fellow, if so please let us know. Marc

Lauritz Helsingør answered me. There are new and real photos for the Beomaster! (except 3 and 6) The thumbnails still show the old photos but in full size there are the true ones. This Beomaster 800 looks great too and is worth a bid. Good luck to every B&O vintage product lover! Marc

  • Concerning the Beomaster 800 on Lauritz.com

Hello all the lovers of B&O vintage products! I would like to warn you about the lot number : 1078388 currently on Lauritz.com; The photos that describe it are in fact those of mine I bought a year ago! I have recognized the 2 dots of white painting (photo 3) that I have easily removed and the dark spot on the teak veneer, not palisander (photo

  • Re: Is there a way to play a 12" disc at 45 rpm?

  • Re: Beogram 6000 CD-4 Distortion

Hello Yackadm, The CD4 demodulator contains a pre-pre-amplifier and can provide 4x300mV when on. If you connect your Beogram 6000 to a classic RIAA phono input which accepts only a few mV, you will completely saturate it. When CD4 on, try to connect the BG6000 to an AUX input to verify if this is O.K. To what amplifier do you connect your BG 6000? Congratulations

  • Re: its that old RIAA question..again

As mentioned in this FAQ response the Beogram 6000 Quad will also do the job with its lovely retro design! Marc

  • Re: Help! Again!! Broadband in France

I think too Mbee and Jérôme are right; as it seems that there is not « dégroupage » in your parents’ village (“dégroupage” means that you don’t pay any more for the monthly subscription for the telephone line to France Télécom / Orange which belong then to private providers

  • Re: Help! Again!! Broadband in France

Hello Steve, The broadband (ADSL) providers for your parents’ village can be found at http://www.degrouptest.com/ (typing their fixed phone number and their postal code). I live in the middle of the country and the choice of providers is not very extensive. I personally use orange.fr and with only 622,4 Kbit/s it works fine! Marc

Marc
