It works with mine, but there are several MX7000 models with significantly different software. Do you press GO after displaying AV? It may also depend if the TV is option 1 or option 2.
-
Me again... The first solution really turns the tube off, while the second displays a black picture...
-
Yes 2 solutions, Turn the TV off, then call the source by pressing the AV button before the Source. Or add V.SETUP to your LIST button. To mute the picture, go to V.SETUP, then press GO, go to PICTURE with the list putton, then press GO, then press the Volume UP and Volume Down button at the same time, like when you mute the sound. p.

I do not like the colour one... but maybe people will like to match the color of their mp3 player...

mobeyone: Wheres the pic!! I have emailed the guy, but his email bounced! Looks like his account (that host both his email and his photo) has been disabled! p.

Actually, I have a possible solution for that... But I have not tried it. On the sky box itself, there is a 2 RF output, one for the main TV, and one for a second room. In the SKY menu settings, you have a format setting for the main room and another one for the 2nd room. I would try the following: Set the main room to 16:9 and the 2nd room to 4:3.
-
I have checked on the manuals, BV1 has indeed the Format feature, the MX4000 does not. Just dig into the cable set to box settings and turn it to 4:3 and all will be fine. p.
-
You cannot change the setting on any 4:3 TV, but you can surely change the setting to 4:3 from 16:9 in your set top box setup menu. p.

Very good summary! Fortunately the new CEO is on the same point of view and things will improve... at least regarding the technologies.

B&O would not come up with the Beo5, only to come up with this remote a year after. Let's stop dreaming. Very nice work by the way! P.
