355f, you have to buy the Beomaster 5 - which has WiFi - connect to your TV and auto-download the new Blu-ray player updates. Simple.

Or swap for another BV7-40 MKIII that doesn't hum?

I heard today that the BV7 retro-fittable Blu-ray drive will be available in November! That's the good news. Bad news is that it will be around £400 (pounds, not dollars!). That's a lot more than a PS3, so I'm not sure it's worth paying £400 - in addition to my PS3 - to watch a Blu-ray movie?

9 LEE: I have a lot to thank Nick for.. Just wanted to point out that I share those thoughts. Nick was a fantastic person to deal with. There is definitely void within the Bath store since he left. Hopefully with the planned revamp, things will improve somewhat.

Toby: I wonder if though anyone could hint where the former B&O of Bath and Swindon has gone? I was stunned to hear that he sold up and left. Not everything is good in retail. There are reasons why things go wrong, sadly. Nothing more can be said, directly.

Dave: I agree with Razlaw and Shatner, value is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not disagreeing with that at all. Some people would think I'm mad that I bought an expensive watch last year. Some people say 'I'd never spend more than £200 on a watch', then you find they've just spent £11K on a set of speakers and then

TripEnglish: but the Kuro's processing is unsophisticated when compared to the BeoSystem 3 and the sheer number of features on board make them unbeatable values. Perhaps, true, but the BS3 can be overkill for the average user. Yes, there is a PQ difference between the BS3-based BV7-40 MKIII and the previous MKII, but I don't know if we need

Some interesting new stuff. I wonder how the BL5's or BL9's will look in white. I have an all-white living room and sometimes wonder if I should buy larger speakers that will 'blend' in to the background. I'll consider the option. If they are fitting a Blu-ray option in to the BV7-40, then I wonder how they're going to handle

I know of a few UK dealers on here, but the majority are not pro-active (ie. they do PM quite a bit though). KingStreet is one of the most pro-active on the board. However, I'm told that UK dealers are requested, informally, not to post on public places such as Beoworld, sadly. Either that or that's just the reason why some dealers claimt they

B&O confirmed in February 2008 that they are working on their version (whatever that means) of 100Hz, but that we shouldn't expect an updated BV7-40 with 100Hz 'for about a year'. So the consensus is end of this year or early next?
