Sounds like a wonderful system. How long do you expect to wait for delivery? I see you are also in the USA as we are. We recently purchased a pair of Beolab 9s to go with our Avant. We moved the Beolab 1s that were in front to the rear. The 9s are incredible speakers that still give me chills when I hear a new piece of music on them. We are traveling

David, I agree with you. The 4000s are amazing. We have 4000s in two rooms in our house and had a pair of Beolab 1s with a subwoofer in a third room. I frequently found myself choosing to listen to the 4000s over the 1s as they seemed to sound better to me. We recently purchased a pair of Beolab 9s to replace the 1s which are now rear speakers in our

We have had Beolab 1s for a few years connected to an Avant with a Velodyne subwoofer. As good as the sound was, the improvement was tremendous when we recently brought a pair of Beolab 9s home to try. After comparing the two setups the 9s stayed. The Beolab 1s have now replaced a pair of 6000s as the rear speakers in a surround setup. This may sound

We have a Velodyne HGS-12. We do still want a Beovision 7 but will continue to use the Avant for now. Too expensive to do the Beovision 7 right after a pair of Beolab 9s, even with the great deal we got on the 9s.

Yes, I can too if the sub is connected to the sub out on the Avant. However, doing that sends all of the Bass to the sub and none to the Beolab 9s. I want to keep the Bass going to the 9s as their bass is superior to the subs, except for the very lowest frequencies which the 9 can not reach.

Regarding connecting the sub "daisy chain" style to the 9, I take it you mean power link from Avant to one of the power link sockets on the 9 and then connect the sub into the other powerlink on the 9? We are using a Velodyne, not Beolab 2 but it should still work, shouldn't it? Perhaps even better as the Velodyne has adjustments on it

Could you clarify what you mean by the statement some think 9s are preferable to 5s as easier to listen to? Thanks!

It sounds like a wonderful setup. Also, speakers could be easily upgraded if desired.

Everything I have read on SACD seemed to indicate that a direct connection was needed to the individual speakers and that connecting to a Beovision was not possible. If there is a way to do so I would very much like to know about. It was about a year ago or more that I researched it so maybe it has changed. We have an Avant and Beolab 9s and are considering

I actually did not like the looks at first, much preferring our red Beolab 1s, but now that we have them I do like the way they look. Ours are black. I am not sure if that would have been my first choice of color. We went to look at the Beovision 7 and the dealer had these and another pair of Beolab 9s in black on display. These had been on display
