Exactly. That's the easiest way. I would recommend you replace the trimmers if not already done, they are often badly oxidized and/or physically broken. Martin

Hvis det stadig er de originale trimmere, bør de skiftes. De er ALTID dårlige. Justeringen er som regel utrolig "smidig" med nye trimmere. Martin

John, I don't know if it's just the way you decorate but your photos always have a nice warm glow to them. Very nice ! PS: Where is the Beogram tonearm ? EDIT: I'll answer that myself... Looks like the photo was taken with a looong shutter time. Both the 33 and 45 RPM lights are lit proving that the tonearm was travelling the whole trip

Yes, this is a beautiful and classic system and a perfect entry to owning and collecting B&O. And the price is more than cheap. I've seen remotes fetch prices near that alone. Martin

Sounds like the front panel could use a light cleaning (deoxidation) of the button contacts. The rest is pretty much standard faults, that are usually solved by asking the repairshop to replace all electrolytic capacitors (1uF and up) and check for cracked solder joints on the boards, especially at the connectors, in the power supply areas and at the

Welcome to Beoworld ! The Beogram 8002 is by far the better one of those two and of course Beogram 8002 parts can be found, its just B&O who can't supply them. What are the symptoms ? An yes, the MMC cartridge will work fine in both decks. Martin

Probably bad belts (available). Can you hear the motor running if you place your ear to the Beocord ? Martin

Not a Beotime, I'm afraid. It's a platter from a Beogram 4000, with the strobo marks at the back. It will also be much heavier than a Beotime. The pointed hands are not correct either. Martin
