Of course not everyone is going to like it - bit boring if they did. It does however offer a different take to the normal wall mounted TV and better sound quality. I prefer the square dimensions to the rectangular norm and think it looks good when off. As I will be using it on a stand, the square format is much more like the Avant and this puts the

There is indeed a very large ported enclosure in the center of the TV. It is this that allows the sound to be improved. The drivers are relatively small - you would not expect the tweeters to be big but the midrange is smll, though not for a TV. The central woofer is a better size though and needs a decent enclosure, the design of which has been what

[quote user="Toubro"] 1: A lot of products have problems when they are released, (not sure exactly what it's called in english, it's called børnesygdomme in danish), where the first models might have some issues not caught in the testphase. How is this with B&O?? Is it better to wait half a year so they might have caught

Quite a day! (Including getting up at 4 am - something Kalle also had to do, but he was at CET and was off to the US in the afternoon - as Lee says - clearly Superman!) I will add to this thread this pm once back from work but just to say that it was a great event and Lee was a wonderful host. I also feel that Kalle, Lars and Steve went out of their

The BV10 was on the small wall but the curtain behind acted as a supplementary wall, though this is less obvious in the pictures - not ideal I agree but satisfactory to get a good impression. The proportions of the 7-55 were very similar to the 7-40 - just magnified! The depth of the screen is unchanged and it was on a floor mount with the 7.6 speaker

No, but the rest of the journalists were ushered out of the building before they wheeled in the 7-55. The official launch will be in the US and they did not want to spoil the surprise - The Blu-ray drive is the same as the 7-40 - Samsung. We have pictures of the 10-40 - no doubt Lee is busy posting them!

Having been there, it was beautifully presented and in the Audi Quattro rooms in London. Pictures taken on camera phones should be discounted! It was mounted both on a floorstand and a free standing wall - not sure how else you could do it!
-
It will sell in the US first and the BV9 will continue for the moment.

BV10 - lovely set - excellent picture and the sound was fine despite being in a huge room. I will report properly on the sound in a normal room when mine arrives in a couple of weeks. This will be a huge seller - same price as an Avant and same visual footprint but only 6 cms thick. BV4-103 - this is big. REALLY BIG !! Spectacular set and hydraulic ram

Just been to the UK launch - lovely set. Are you planning to use the floor mount? I see no reason why you could not mount the Sky box to the back - I dare say STB brackets will make a suitable fixing. However the main point of the BV10 is its slimness so I would put it somewhere hidden!
