• Re: Beovision 8: Is it worth it buying?

Also take a look at this chart http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/31146/250160.aspx#250160 It should help you decide if 32" is enough within your viewing distance

I bought a white BV8-32 that was a demo so at first it was a little gray in places but cleaned up very nicely :) The family loves the BV8-32, and given its reduced price I actually escaped the usual complaints I get when I buy B&O. In fact my sons were saying they have never seen a a screen that is as crisp and clear as a PC (well Mac actually)

The Overture has these connections: Power Link (two) AUX FM aerial, 75 ohm AM aerial (Dedicated) Master Link (ML) Headphone/Mini jack So: 1/ do you know if the AUX DIN is bi-directional ? can you output a line level signal through it ? 2/ does plugging in a headphone into the Overture mute the attached speakers
Lessons learnt:
And a BIG one is NOT to set your optical drive to a region. I believe when you are prompted you can select "cancel" and keep using the drive, but if you select one region you are then trapped into consuming your free trials of regions before the optical drive eventually is locked to
here in France the major channels are in full HD
Here in Australia we have gone from the historic 5 analogue channels to now 5 x 3 digital channels. Each of the old owners got 3 digital channels: two at 720, and one at 1080. The net effect has been an increase in mediocrity ... and more tasteless advertisements
when I just want to read e-mails and quick surf the net, that would be possible with the iPhone,
correct ... but in my opinion the small screen of the iPhone is not good for general browsing. I can use the iPhone for email (either native, or via google's webmail), sometimes Beoworld, and for wikipedia (which

My switch to Apple was 11 months ago - a wonderful decision, I love my MacBook (it is a 13" unibody, but the "Pro" suffix was added some 6 months later together with small enhancements) although I am probably looking to switch to a more powerful MacBook (bigger screen, bigger/faster disk) although the additional power of a desktop is
