2 way stopped with the demise of the 2500 as far as I know.

beolife: joeyboygolf: The "trade in" price that you may be offered by a dealer will be considerably less than the price that the dealer then offers the set for resale. This price difference has to cover any refurb work, any warranty offered, sales taxes, interest on capital, overheads and profit margin. B&O dealers work on 30% gross margin

The cable to a DIN connector is 6 core with the yellow being datalink. It is all illustrated in the service manual which you can download from this site if you upgrade your membership to silver or gold.

Hi Jim Makes no sense at all to me either! Enjoy

I don't have a TX2 to test but I am fairly sure that it is present on the mute switch pcb as usual. I will try to identify the connector postively when I get home from work and it will be up to you to route it to the din plug.

I have used a DVD1 with a MX6000 no problem. I would not buy a Mk1 as those that I have had have been unreliable and have cost me quite a bit of money in warranty repairs. The Mk2's seem to be more reliable but £250 does seem rather a lot of money for a £20 DVD player with a fancy user interface!

Christian: I am sorry, but I cannot recognice the second hand value. For the 4-50 I have observed a price range from 7.600 - 8.600 £, compared to the current retail price of 12.000 £ or about 9.500 £ if you get a by Danish standard "normal" discount. (Prices are converted from DKK...) I think you are confusing trade in prices

The stand is OK, it's the motor that is a wrong'un. The 4 pin plug indicates that this is a motor for all the rest of the range except 4200 and 8000. The 4200/8000 motor is very rare as not the many were made.

I didn't ask how much 'cos I needed them to complete a £1000 system! The moulded spigot that the hinge fits over is smaller on the MCP5500
