Hi Erik I'll leave it to others with more knowledge to fill you in on the differences between the C75s and CX100s. It's easy to connect the Cona to the BC. You run normal speaker cables out of the DIN connections on the BC. These connect to the Cona with screw binding terminals, so the ends of the cables need to be bare wire. The Cona has another

Peter is probably right here. I have some Beovox Pentas connected to a Beomaster 8000, which is more than able to drive them comfortably. I have a Beosystem 5000 and have tried using the Pentas with the 5000 amp, and it's not really up to the job. I must admit though that I have not heard a Beocenter 8000 driving Beovox Pentas, but I imagine that

soundproof: @J0Hnbarker Hard to resist now, isn't it? :-) Yes! The workmanship is something else - amazing. It looks brand new (which I suppose it is!) :)

Puncher: jandyt: smito: i miss the "my beo" in the members' profile. i always found it very usefull and interesting! I think it would be good if everyone listed their B&O in "Bio". That's what I intend to do (one of these days) Andy T. I think that would be the best solution, the info's there for those that want to

Could you put your B&O info in your signature field, as some of us did on the old forum? Not sure how many characters there are to play with though...

soundproof: He did stupendous work with the Beolab 5000. Very pleased. I agree with you concerning the age of the Beovox 5000. Things have moved on - yet there's something to the authenticity of having the whole set ... His speakers were also rebuilt and recalibrated - which probably added to the impression of the sound. Combining with the flat

soundproof: Frede Kristensen actually suggested I should use two Beovox 3000 when I was worried that the Beovox 5000 would be too large. The Beovox 3000 was used as the center speaker for those who wanted that (a special feature of the Beolab 5000). Ah. I meant the Beovox 3000 panel speaker (type 6716 from 1989-91). I thought this would be unusual because

soundproof: I'm using two speaker combo's, switching: a pair of Dynaudio Focus 140, and also a pair of BL3s. Very good sound from both - though as Peter suspected in the thread you mention the BL3/Beolab 5000 match-up is a weird one. Was very pleased with the sound of the Beovox 5000/2500 at Frede's, though. And now I'm thinking it would

darren: j0hnbarker: Nice Beolit 800 to go with my 1960s 600 & 609 and 70s 600. Unfortunately, my girlfriend has insisted it be used laying down with the stand out so that she can sit some soft toys on top of it >:( Nice one John, good to see you here on the new forum, hope all is well in sunny Sheffield. And you Darren. Hope you managed to salvage
