Puncher: I can understand the BS5 not having a CD drive but why on earth couldn't it be on the Beomaster - cost can't be the issue! It is a design problem as the Beomedia is integrated at the back of Beovision 9 for example. You could not access it. It is supposed to be a hidden box. The downside of connecting the speaker on the TV, is that you lose 2 way control of the BM. It still remains the recommanded solution. p.

In that case that would work. RADIO would turn the BS 2300 on. AV + RADIO would turn the BC1 radio on. Why have you not connected the 2, do not want to listen to the TV sound on the BS speakers sometimes? p.

A question I have asked in the forum a few times, is can you have both in the same system. They complement each other perfectly, one does Radio and CD, the other one N.RADIO and N.MUSIC. At the moment the answers seems to be that is is not possible, but it would be a mistake if B&O had not thought of a way to integrate the 2 together as potetial

This solution would not work if all speakers were connected to the BC1. I believe there is another way to do it with the BC1. I remember seeing it on this forum. I do not know if it is in the standard menu or in the hidden menu. p.
