Steve, Have you always had this problem or has it only recently started to occur ? This problem certainly should not occur, so I think the first step is to get a little more data. Given, the last line of your posting I am assuming you have always had this problem ? Does the "hum" occur in both speakers ?

Fons, All the Beocom 6000 table bases come with a charger to suit that country only. In other words its NOT one charger to suit both 110v and 220v

I have repaired the faulty logos and a new zip file is on the Beo5 download site HERE Please download the logo zip file again and when you extract the files please confirm you wish to overwrite existing files.

If the warning light turns yellow/orange then the protection circuit been activated because of a detected fault which normally means:- The amplifier unit has overheated, A fault occurred in the amplifier which could damage the loudspeaker units. Assuming this never happens whilst the speakers are in use (playing music etc), then the fault is likely

Rasmus, Yes, Emmanuel is correct. If the TV software is below 7.3 then you will need to update it as well. The software update requires the replacement of plugin software chip IC3 on PCB6

The following FREESAT channels were available today below. They are basically all the Freeview channels plus a couple "standard definition" channels plus BBC & ITV HD channels.

As the 1614 is for the US market meaning it is expecting 110 volts main supply, did you provide it with 240 volts ?

The Type 1611 is an Europe version and the 1614 is the US version. There is also a 1612 & 1613 which are the same as above except released a couple of years later
