Nooooo! The white finish is VERY delicate. There is not a lot you can do to restore it other than a respray with car paint.

Hi Derek, You need to remove the electronic pack to get at the bottom door carriage adjustment. With only 3mm or so gap I would probably leave it alone but if you feel the need then I would only adjust one door. To maintain a uniform gap it is usual to adjust top and bottom door carriers. Member Dillen can supply a new belt as can B&O dealers. I would recommend replacing the belt before meddling with the speed adjustment. The belt is common to all B&O decks from the 3000 onwards.

The amps on the BL4500 were designed to give a slight uplift in the bass.

You need to download the manual from the main Beoworld website. It will download as a .pdf file and if you have Acrobat reader installed on your computer it should open automatically.

The two are identical internally. The differences are all external - ie The shape of the dust cover and the external trim panels.

The parts are still available. I priced this job for a customer just last week. Parts cost £186 in the UK. The baffle kit and screws cost £66 and the metal frets are £120

I priced this conversion the other day for a customer. Still available and £186 for parts in the UK. Be aware that the Al fronts are very delicate and any dents stick out like a sore thumb! If I were you I would buy one of the wall brackets that I have for sale and mount the whole lot out of the childs way!!
