Hello, and welcome to Beoworld. Your Beocenter 2200 would have been fitted ith an MMC5 originaly. There is only one place you can get new ones and that is www.sound-smith.com . However they are not cheap, the other alternative is try looking for a second hand one, However you may be buying one that is no better than the you already have. Craig

What I found when I had a Beocenter 900 was. It would play most, but not all brands of CD-R. As for CD-RW it would not play them at all. Hope this helps. Craig

Even though a friend of mine has a Bose system in his Audi, I don't think of them a car audio. When I think of Bose I think of the Waveguide models they do and those Bose speakers that 95% of Pubs and Clubs used to have. IMO I think the car audio side of B&O is a good thing. Even better that they will be offering it in more of the Audi model

Flappo The Grate: the prices of the top bv7 and bv9 no longer belong in the real world Have to agree, I could justify the £3500 I paid for my BV3-32. Some of the prices now though are just beyond belief, and the way technology changes so fast. Don't think I would like to pay £8000 for a TV only for it to be outdated 6 months later. Craig

Never listened to it properly to be honest. My uncle (he of the wasp sting ) is going to do me a copy. Its all instrumental remixes on that album isn't it? Craig
-
Me too, I think it is a very cool design. Craig

Had a similar thing happen to me just recently, I was selling a Beogram which someone brought on B.I.N. After waiting over 2 weeks for payment they now don't want it and have offered to pay any relisting fees. Why click on the B.I.N. in the first place though. Craig

Jandyt: Green coloured cables will a clearer, sharper and more rounded sound than inferior, mauve cables. Red cables give a really quick sound whereas orange cables tend to be a bit tangy. All this must be true, it's on the internet. Andy T. Andy have you been on the Holsten again? Craig

Not 100% sure, but I believe the buttons are for when you use the same sensor with a Beolink Active or Passive. when connected to a PC2 it just recieves IR commands and nothing else. Craig

Human League - Dare, might listen to Travelogue next if I get time. Not listened to any of their stuff for a long time. Craig
