The BV7-40 will be coming out with the same type of backlit LED screen as the 7-55. It should re-establish the pecking order!

At present, your Beoline is built into the base of yor Beocom 6000. This unfortunately is not able to work with a Beocom 5. The newer Beocom 6000s use a separate box which attaches to the phone line and can be hidden away. I would qualify that by saying the BV7 will be superior - at present the screen in the BV10 is better than the screen in the present BV7-40. It will not be for long! Obviously the sound and the connections of the BV7 are superior. I agree with Phil; if I had a BV7 and liked the look, I would not swap.
