The BV7-40 will be coming out with the same type of backlit LED screen as the 7-55. It should re-establish the pecking order!

Seems to be a problem with Beotech - neither Safari or Firefox are opening it! We'll look into it!

The MCP-5500 will work it to a degree but will register no contact all the time - really not worth it. Get a Beo4 or a Beolink 1000.

At present, your Beoline is built into the base of yor Beocom 6000. This unfortunately is not able to work with a Beocom 5. The newer Beocom 6000s use a separate box which attaches to the phone line and can be hidden away. You still have the charger base but this does not have the line in it so is much easier to put wherever you want. The Beocom 5 will

I would qualify that by saying the BV7 will be superior - at present the screen in the BV10 is better than the screen in the present BV7-40. It will not be for long! Obviously the sound and the connections of the BV7 are superior. I agree with Phil; if I had a BV7 and liked the look, I would not swap.
