  • Re: MX 5000 Writing on screen

Must be the glass contrast screen type as Stonk first mentioned then. The plastic strips will be difficult to remove unless you know the correct way. Push the end of the strip from the front of the set towards the rear - it should go in a few millimeters, and you can then pry the end of the strip outwards from the side of the set. It should then clear

  • Re: Beolab 8000 "look alikes" from DK

The shipping quote is very much B&O like... but at least the price is right at the moment!

  • Re: New to B&O need help with BM6500 and Beo4

If you see numbers flashing, you've lost the game; it's back in the preset selection phase, or something... All you should see is the decimal point after the "F" blink after you've entered each digit. And once you've entered them all, remember to wait a bit without pressing anything! If this doesn't work, I'm stumped

No problem Glenn I'm once again stuck with only a Beolink 1000 so I can't try it out myself, but I think it might actually be the left & right diamond buttons on a Beo4. If that doesn't work either, just key in the frequency you want (remember the decimal digit as well). Seeking is a bit problematic anyway since you have no way of knowing

  • Re: MX4000 keeps turning itself on and off

If having the box "not there" solves the problem, it should be because of the SCART control voltage from it coming and going for some reason, and therefore confusing the MX. Then you can try disconnecting pin 8 from the SCART lead (or as a reversible fix, wrap a piece of hard tape over pin 8 in the SCART plug to isolate it, it should last

Try unplugging the Freeview box from mains and see it if still happens.

  • Re: iPhone 4

Indeed The legend says that D-4 was skipped in professional digital broadcasting formats for this very reason, the names of the standards jumped from D-3 to D-5... Putting a cover on a phone to be able to use it sounds just as nice as a car bra.

  • Re: What's up dock?

Well I've had an inside the flap camera for video calls in my Nokia E90 for three years. I've needed it exactly once for about 10 seconds, as a proof of concept to call my friend across the bar table

[/quote] Back on subject - I absolutely love the RL60.2's I have at the office at work. They are mounted on ceiling poles, and I have to admit they didn't sound anything special before
