We started out with 4000s and 6000s and switched them back and forth. We found we preferred the 6000s in the front and the 4000s in the rear. Although this may have partly been due to the fact we liked the 6000s better and wanted them in the front. The 4000s, as mentioned here, have the flexibility of being placed on the wall up high where the rear

Let me be clear, I am in no way complaining about the store. I have always received excellent service from various B and O stores, including offers to deliver and install at no charge items as small as a Beosound 3000 even though I am 2 1/2 hours away. I received an advertisement from B and O directly, not from the store. The advertisement offered complimentary

I upgraded to 4.65 and album covers seemed to all appear. Netradio however did not work. After uninstalling and reinstalling many times I finally traced the problem to an unused antivirus program which I have now deleted. I am now reinstalling CDs and all covers are appearing with the exception of a CD of Bach organ music. Instead of the cover I received

There were two cards attached to the advertisement. One card offered a "complimentary in-home" demonstration of Beo 5. The second card, which is the one I sent in, offered an in home demonstration of Beovision 7, Beolab 9, or Beolab 3. I was shocked when I received it as I would not have expected such items to be demonstrated in-home, but

After using the Serene for almost a week I have formed some opinions. It is wonderfully elegant feeling. The operation is a pleasure. The sound quality is typical B and O. All in all a wonderful phone. The fact that I got mine for a 30% discount from the dealer does certainly help me appreciate it.

Did anybody else receive the 2007-2008 catalog and magazine with the mail in cards regarding products? I filled out the card and sent it in requesting the in home demonstration and then received a call from the dealer saying they do not offer in home demonstrations. Just wondering if anybody else had sent one of the cards in and what the response was

The first B and O item my wife and I purchased was a Century. It has been followed by many other products including Beosound 3000 and 1, and Beolab 1, 4000, 6000, and 9. The Century is still one of my favorites. The sound is amazing, far better than the 1.

Glad to see it has opened. I look forward to visiting it my next trip to Chicago next month. It will be nice to once again have two stores in the Chicago area, both downtown and the Glenview store at Abt Electronics.

I finally had success. I had an unused anti virus program on the computer. I uninstalled it and now net radio works as it should. Has anybody else noticed that in addition to the tiny album covers that are displayed if one clicks on "info" on the right hand virtual beo 4 a much larger version of the album cover appears?
