linder: However I will have a Beomedia 1 to sell which I will post on Beoworld. There has been some unconfirmed rumours that the BM1 could be used with BS5 instead of a BM5... So wait until the specs are released before selling it. p.

To cut a long story short, I have just been re-united with my collection of CDs from about 10 years ago. While going through them, sorting them, many memories came back to me, but I also started desperately wanting a BS5 to load them all and being able to re-discover all that music again! p.

I have one pyramidal base station and 2 handsets. Since the 23rd of September, none of the handsets register missed calls and recent calls. When I press redial, I still see the people I called on the 23rd last month. Same when I press Caller ID. What may have happen? I suppose it is the base as both handsets react in the same way. I can still store

Instead of the Menu key, use the Go key. Example Go+1. The menus won't appear on the screen in link rooms but it will work the same.

It should work... HDR1 & 2 work like a Video recorder.

If you contact Apple customer service, and explain what happened, they will allow you, as a favour to re-download all your songs. They will only let you do this once per itunes account, as a commercial gesture. Of course, better safe than sorry, we should all backup our music. p.

One limitation is that the speaker must be connected to the Beoport, so you cannot start the BS2300 with its local controls, but you have to use the remote. I was able to use a Beovision in this setup, with no IR receiver on the Beoport. I have only tested this setup for a short while, so I do not know how stable it is and what are the other limitations

mjmedlo: You can buy an ML/adapter that connects to the AUX port. This allows you to use Beoport I believe, I don't think you 'll get display on the BC2300 but I do think it would work? The adapter is called a Beolink converter, but BC2300 does not support N'MUSIC.
