New woofers are around £25 each and can still be ordered from your B&O dealer as are speakerlink cables. As an alternative you could buy the plugs from an electronics supplier and make them yourself using ordinary speaker cable.

I am afraid that new cd drives are no longer available. You could try cleaning the laser lens but I am pretty sure that the problem will be some dried out capacitors on the cd servo board, in particul;ar C2103. There have been a number of threads on the forum and a search will reveal the info you require.

moxxey: One thing that does frustrate me with Beoworld is that I know for a fact that both dealers and B&O UK watch and read posts on this board, but will not reply or leave an official response. I do wish that someone from the company would come on here and say "this is the official line", rather than going through a dealer or responding

Yes, that's the one. Don't be fooled by the price though, by the time you add carriage and taxes it is close to $200

The large clamper 3000 and 3200 were the first models to be fitted with the matt finish control panel. All previous versions in the range had a polished panel. If you want a matt clamper you should specify this with your dealer and he can fit it to the 3200 prior to delivery. Cost to the dealer is around £10-15 and the job will take 20 mins max

I have not found cleaning effective for more than a day or so. The relay is available as a spare part from B&O or I'm sure you can get a substitute from an electronics supplier for 10% of the B&O price!

The CD7000 does not have any functions but it takes it's instruction from whatever it is connected to! This in itself is a problem in this case as the 9500 will believe that the CD is a Phono turntable if you connect to AUX and a Tape Deck if you connect to Tape 2. There is no way to tell the 9500 that you are conecting CD2! The 9500 does not have

Clapton - Unplugged On my test system which consists of parts of a Beosystem 2500 (must be one of the first made and yes It's 2 way and the cassette deck has been robbed to fix another, no doors and the back has been removed for speedy access!!) into a MCL2P driving S80's with foam rot. Needless to say, this is my workshop system not one of

What is there to be more scientific about? There are around 500-600 ( since I dont know the exact figure let's call it x) gold members and each has been allocated a number. Each month a random number generator on the net is used to select 10 random numbers and the corresponding members win the prizes. Simple! Also simple. If you don't agree
