Okay, I was feeling alone with all of the posts and threads about not using loudness. The sound is just so much better to me. I prefer the loudness on my BM3000-2 as compared to my BM4500 (I only have active speakers attached, not much of a diference on or off). The manual for the 3000 says it cuts off at volume level 4. Does it actually taper off?

If I ever get a BV9, I don't think I would (or could) ever get rid of it.
