The plastic catch mechanism is still available from B&O as far as I am aware, at least it was 2 years ago. Bit of a pain to replace though! The service manual is on site.
-
I have had varying success rates but see this thread for comments by the experts. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/106444.aspx

C2103 is on the servo board which is attached to the bottom of the CD mechanism. It is a 33uF electrolytic. There are a couple of other electrolytics on the board and it is worth changing those as well. It is difficult to find 33uF nowadays so I use 47 with success. The BC9500 service manual is on site and the servo pcb is identical on that model.

You should have a black metal plate that covers all the mounting holes.

355f: 9 LEE: Standard 'blah' i would call it.. very non-committal, and clearly written by a PR Department. At the moment though, i think B&O have bigger fish to fry... Lee It seems to me that the new founded bodies like the 'carbon trust' for example are another way of raising revenue, now we even have departments within local councils

That's just spin written by the PR department.

Your B&O dealer can still order a belt or Dillen keeps stock.
-
What are you connecting the deck to?
-
I suggest that you buy one and try it. The old one is past it's best anyway. In my experience it is almost always the belt that is the problem. A new belt either fixes it or removes a variable.

It is more than likely that an ordinary B&O service centre will pronounce your 9000 unserviceable. You should try to find someone who is used to repairing vintage B&O who will be familiar with the well publicised fixes for 9000 CD problems.
