  • Re: new keypad rubber for a beolink 1000

The problem here Keith is that some of the later versions have the same back markings as the earlier MK 1's & 2's. Most reliable method of ID is:- MK 1 & 2 have a button marked "link" on the top middle row. MK 3 & beyond all have this button marked "light" and the keypad is the same for all of these. Chris.

  • Re: B&O in movies

Tom: I had to see "What women want" (Mel Gibson and Hellen Hunt) tonight with SWMBO. There is a lot of B&O in that movie. I've spotted one BS2300, BL6000, BeoCom4000 and BeoCom1400. So it wasn't a totally wasted 2hours then Tom

  • Re: Has any member ever gone back to older products?

I've just replaced my Beovox 3000 (flat Panel) speakers with MC120.2's. Even though the panels are extremely chic and unobtrusive the performance is nowhere near as good, even SWMBO agreed with me on this. I always try and have the best equipment for the task regardless of the era it was made or how it looks. Thankfully the retro look is cool

  • Re: Beogram rx2 skips easily

In that case it's probably one or more of the leaf springs on the suspension that need adjusting. There are 3 of them - copper coloured - spaced equi-distant under the platter. If you look at the platter there is likely to be a point where it is lower when you look at where it sits in the surrounding top plate and this is the spring which has sagged

  • Re: Beocenter 2500/Beosystem 2500???

francoisvl: Is it possible to connect passive speakers to the 2500 in any way?? Yes but you need a Beolink passive to do this. Usually quite expensive but have been known to go for a fair price on ebay if you find a badly listed one. Chris.

Is the sound more of a scraping noise and coming from the platter? Chris.

camshaft: I made a post earlier that got stuck in post limbo, but Peter freed it and it has appeared a couple posts up. A salient post Austin but let me ask you this. Would you buy a Cadillac or Chevrolet which was made in China to the parent companies spec's? and would you still consider it an American car if it was? Do you also care about how

  • Re: which remote for beomaster 5000?

Very limited I'm afraid. You have only 2 options. 1. Terminal 5000 2. MCP 5000 . Nothing else will work as the codes on the Beomaster 5000 differ to the others you mention especially the Beo1 which is a video only terminal designed for use with the Beovision 1 and is a complete waste of space frankly, Chris.
