    If it's the eloxated surfaces, as on your new Beolab 1700, there's really not a lot you can do except replace the affected parts. If it's the painted surfaces, you can respray them. Martin

    Could be cracked solder joints at the voltage regulator(s) with the small cooling fins at the bottom center board next to the CD deck. Martin

    If it was previously used with 220-240V, the fuses will have to be doubled in current rating when put to use with 110-120V. That's ohms law. The tonearm issue doesn't sound good. Martin

    Hmm.. First thing I looked for; I miss the "My discussions" quick overview. Martin EDIT: I found it. Obviously "My discussions" are now "Your discussions". Any chance of setting the "Email me replies to this post" field to default off ? Also the Membership type "stars" have gone.

    Yes, that is 125mA. The following letter will tell the type of fuse needed; T = slow blow M = medium F = fast blow Did a fuse blow ? Martin

    En myte er det nok ikke helt men det var i gamle dage med hybrid-TV. Altså ikke hybrid-net og alt det moderne stads... Hybrid-TV er fjernsyn, hvor der både anvendtes transistorer og rør. Ideen var at rørene, og her særdeles billedrørets glødetråd(e), slides mest når de varmer op. Glødetrådens

    Du kan godt slukke for dit Beosystem, når det ikke bruges. Det vil jeg faktisk anbefale de fleste at gøre. Jeg tænder på væggen når jeg kommer hjem til fyraften og slukker igen når jeg går i seng. Det har jeg gjort i mange år og mit Beosystem bruger ca. 35 Watt i standby så det bliver til
