A few years ago my wife and I purchased a pair of display Beolab 1s. Several months ago we purchased a pair of display Beolab 9s that had been on display for one month at 40% discount. We also have bought two pairs of display Beolab 4000s. The only speakers we have purchased new are a pair of Beolab 6000s. I have never regretted buying the display models

We have Beolab 9s in front and I agree with many of the posters here that a sub is totally unneeded. In fact with our setup, the bass suffers tremendously if a sub is connected. When connecting the sub to the Avant, all bass goes to it and none to the 9s and the sound quality suffers tremendously. Have you tried adjusting the bass setting on the 9s

We have a Beosytem 1 cabinet that we store our DVD player, power conditioner etc in next to our Avant. This is the cabinet with the angled front with a fixed panel at the bottom (for Beosystem 1) and 5 doors with shelves above it. The front of it is angled similiar to the angle on the Beovision 9. Does anybody know if in fact it is the same angle? We

I believe power conditioners do work. We have a Panamax that our Avant, Beosound 3000, and Beolab 9s are plugged into. I noticed an improvement in all components when we first purchased it, although at that time the speakers were either Beolab 6000s or 1s, I don't remember which ones we were using at the time. We also have the Panamax plugged into

Thanks for all of the excellent input. However I still have a basic question. Beoport previously worked flawlessly for me, it copied CDs and loaded cover art etc. Now it will not connect to get the info on CDs. As it worked perfectly before, I do not understand why it will not now connect. It will still copy and Net Radio connects and functions perfectly

If I do as you suggest, how do I get them into Beoport along with album covers? Anybody have any suggestions about why Beoport is not reading the CD titles and cover art? How to fix it?

Today I decided to copy some new CDs into Beoport. The problem is it will not connect to bring up the CD info, album covers etc. I get a window that asks if I want to connect directly or by proxy? All else is working fine with Beoport including Net Radio. Any suggestions?

For an interesting article on Abt Electronics and Bang and Olufsen, go to ddimagazine.com, click on advanced search and set date range to include 10/01/07 and search for Olufsen. An article entitled Electronics Superstore will be found. Sorry, not sure how to post a link.

It is most definetly a real store. I have purchased a B and O cabinet, Beolab 4000s, Bolab 9s, and a Serene there, as well as other products that are not B and O. It is a huge store whith every imaginable type of appliances or electronics, kitchen items, and more. Part of the store is somewhat of a mini-mall with smaller boutique stores such as Apple

Am I understanding this thread correctly? 1. I did not see a mention of using iTouch with a PC so I assume that is not possible? 2. iTouch will not control Beoport/Beoplayer software so iTunes is required?
