Have you removed the transit fixings??? They are red twisters on the underside. They need to be completely removed, not just twisted round. If it was supplied without transit fixers and it came by courier I am sorry to say that it could be completely ruined. It has happened to me!!!

Simple to install, will take longer to open the package than to fit the doors! One tip..........wear gloves when handling the door to avoid fingerprints on the inside surface.

Your local B&O dealer is able to supply a door for the 2500. In the UK they cost around £40 each and should be similar cost in the US.

You can use any motor stand except the one made for the MX4200/8000 which have a different motor. You want the motor with a 4 pin connector, the 4200/8000 one has a 5 pin connector.

No contest........go with the Sound-smith SMMC4. I have supplied around a dozen now and their quality is far better than the original. Much smoother sound, almost as good as a decent MMC2. The SMMC4 will cost around £110 once you've paid the duty and carriage.

These are still available from B&O and your dealer can order them and cable.

Looks like a simple wire change on the mains transformer. Suggest that you download the service manual!
