May I direct you to the bottom of the page? Keith is an absolute whizz with this sort of stuff. He once told me that around 95% off all remotes available in the UK can be programmed into the Beo5. Dealers doing it by the book can only access what is already in the Configuration tool. If you can live without your curtain remote control for a few days

Are your BeoLab4000's the older type? If so please forgive the obvious question, have you tried pushing the power button of the front? Opman

A friend has a BeoVision8 40 connected via BeoLink convertor to a BeoCentre9000. He recently went away and powered off the TV only. On returning and powering up the TV he had lost communication with the audio system. I suggested he power off the whole system and power it on again which did the trick. The BeoLink convertor started talking to the BeoVision8

The two versions of Earset are: Earset 1 home. This has a specific plug fitting to connect directly to BeoCom6000 or BeoCom4. No other adaptor is needed for these models. Earset 1 mobile. This has a 2.5mm stereo jack plug and requires one of several adaptors available from Bang & Olufsen to make it work with a selection of other brands of mobile

looks like everybody is as stumped as me on this one. Out of desperation I tried a Maplins 2.5mm stereo jack to 3.5mm stereo jack convertor. It worked 50% in so much as the caller to the Blackberry can hear but the Blackberry doesn't hear a peep. Back to the drawing board Opman
In the continuing absecence of the B&O iPod dock you may also wish to consider one of the Bose Docks or somethng like the B&W Zeppelin mini if you have less space to play with.
Or wait until all the dealers return from the annual conference in Denmark next week and see what news they bring back Opman

The subject says it all really. The Bang & Olufsen dealer site list a range of adaptors that can be fitted to the end of the cable from Earset1 mobile to enable use with a selection of mobile phones. The Blackberry (model 9700) isn't listed but I'm reliably informed that a third party adaptor may do the trick. Does anybody have any knowledge

We maybe missed a step with your flashing alert light before simply turning it off. When it flashes, you can press the button in the middle of the wheel and it gives the reason for the flashing light. Pssible causes are missed calls (check caller ID log), line busy - another handset is on an call or loss of signal to base. Opman

BeoVision7 does not have optical input only coaxial. You will need an optical to coaxial convertor to get audio into the television. Opman

If none of the above help, you could just go into the set up menu and switch off the alert light Opman
