Yes, precisely. I also tried shorting the service mode connector to get the orange or red LED. The LED stays red (I2C bus error ??). I could now press TV and bypass the safety circuits but I am not confident that I could then cause more damage... Richard

Hi I am trying to repair a MX7000 that will not come out of standby. I will not use component numbers in this description because I am working from a MX6000 service manual as there is no MX7000 service manual on the BeoWorld site. Is the MX6000 manual sufficiently similar to the MX7000 for this kind of fault finding? Does anyone have a MX7000 manual

Hi The problem was a dirty trimmer (R108). I was not able to make it work reliably by cleaning it with switch cleaner so I replaced it. Now it works perfectly. The trimmer is in the signal path and is use to set the output voltage of the final IF stage. Richard

There is plenty on room in the car (Mercedes E Class Estate). Did you have the original packaging with yours? If I buy new packaging from a dealer does anybody know how big it would be in its original packaging and whether it can be transported flat once packed? Regards Richard

I am considering buying a BeoVision Avant 32 from a private buyer and would like some advice with regards to transporting the TV to its new home. The seller does not have the original packaging and I only have a large estate car. Is it OK to transport the TV face down on its screen with several duvets to protect the screen or should it only be transported

Hi The product details on your site for the BeoVision 32 DVD state "Features of the two Avant DVD models: Set-Top Box Controller module and Anti-Reflex coated Contrast Screen fitted as standard. All other modules are optional.". Does anybody know whether this information applies to BeoVision 32 DVDs that were produced for all markets especially the
