You can't really say that B&O hasn't changed, they have changed dramatically under the previous CEO. He has decided to dramatically increase prices and move into the "super rich" market. "Super riches" are probably too busy to spend time on this forum, and that left us mere mortals feeling
Agressive? Absolutely. Condescending? Not really. I'm a successful purveyor of luxury goods. I didn't accomplish that by conflating fantasy and reality. If someone feels condescended to because they can't afford a television, a guy on an internet forum is the least of their worries. If I can't afford
I find the look of the Beosound 8 absolutely awful. I know people are enthusing about it but, just because it's B&O don't make it good!
Have to agree, BUT I've only seen it in pictures. Suspect that if it carried, for example, the Amstrad name, many Beosound 8 enthusiasts would find its looks hideous

I've no interest in sport and that includes football BUT I'm led to believe that football, as an example, is particularly impressive in 3D. In the UK, the broadcasting of football in both SD and HD has been a great earner for the Sky network. Now with football being broadcast in 3D, who knows?
As far as I can remember, this was a design concept by a BeoWorld member, Tomasz or Avus, from Eastern Europe.
Pity he or she wasn't consulted when the Beo5 was being developed!

I'm not trying to start or re-ignite a "B&O are finished/doomed" thread, but I have been reading the below concerning a meeting in Beijing involving LG and Chinese manufacturers. http://tinyurl.com/35gn978 Far East companies seem to be developing TV technologies at such frightening speed that companies such as B&O must look on

Out of interest then, what is it? Where did you source the picture Denezro?

In terms of production, China has many qualities, that's quite obvious. But, can anyone name ONE famous worldwide Chinese brand? (This may change though in the near future!)
