Beaker - I have a B&O original accessories brochure from the 1980's if you want it? It's a small A5 14 page affair listing the remotes (BL1k, 5k,7k), furniture, speaker stands, headphones, tv stands etc... Chris.
Many thanks for the offer Chris, I have one of those already. If anyone has any 70's

Thats a B&O radiogram, perhaps a 1200, but with the legs removed. Big, not very popular and no legs! Not worth much at all in the UK, roughly £50 and thats with the legs. As to only 5 having been made, thats rubbish unless they only made 5 without legs!!

Does anyone want to own up to buying this deck. Nice rare item for someone. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260668730236&ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT

If there are any Lab5's that you have no use for, I will gladly give them a home! Or any brochures that you dont want.

os 4.1 is fine on the 3g.

In the big B&O book - cant remember the name - it shows some of the displays at shows that B&O had in the 60's with all thier products and in some of those the tuner is on top. I guess that even then people were not sure which way to stack it. It looks better with the tuner on top though.

I was reading the thread on the wonderful Thorens Beogram 3000 and was struck by something. Why is it called a Beogram 3000? It was built to go with the BL/BM5000 so surely it would have been better to call it the Beogram 5000. I just wondered if there was any reason why the more obvious name wasn't used and they plumped for a number that doesn't

Keep them coming. More pics please

Loving the pictures!! The tank wouldnt be the full depth of the set s the weight could be kept at reasonable levels. But if the fish is of the size in Lee's pictures then there could be a problem.

The Radiograms are great. I use my Compact quite a lot. The only thing I have that just gets in to the pre BM900 period although only just is a pair of Type B speakers. I dont think their too rare but their not that common either.
