Why would you swap the ALT center speaker for a none-ALT speaker when used with ALT main speakers?
I agree. Unless there is a good logistical reason then I'd stay with the 7.4 as it will match the other ALT speakers much nicer. Again, I think the BL4s are fine speakers and I doubt you'll notice anything
I have the same issue with my BV7-32, the built-in DVB-T makes the DTV key busy, although we don't have DVB-T in Reunion yet!I wish I could use the key to turn on the TVIX player..
You can! That's what Trip was referring to. It's done in the service menu by disabling the tuner although you'll

Thanks Trip. Unfortunately, I do want to use the built-in tuner but I've always wished I could switch it to TV from DTV as this makes the most sense in my setup. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a change in the new software that might allow for that.
- in the latest BV7 and BV8-40 indeed, you can re-assign the video sources and turn on the PC or DTV by pressing TV.
Just to clarify. Is this something that has been just added in the last update? If so could this possibly fix the issue for some BS3 based units (North America in particular) where the built

I've got two rooms with BL4s in them and they are terrific for background music/radio/news where you will be doing general listening like a kitchen. When I bought my BS4 I initially was going to pair it with BL4s. However, when I listened to the BL3s back to back with the BL4s I immediately switched to the BL3s as I felt the difference in price

If you haven't already resolved this than you've got a few variables to set aside. I would recommend a simple test to see if you can get a source (DVD?) to play through the BS1 to establish first that you've got the BS1 set up properly to display from that input. S-video resolution shouldn't be a factor so you if you've confirmed

Yes there is definitely a difference between the speaker produced feedback "click" and what I and a few others have found in our units. Perhaps I should of specified that this is more of a friction squeek that produces sounds like multiple 'pops' when simply handling the unit. Obviously when pressing the screen there will be some degree

I originally posted this in the General Forum since there had been recent discussion of the need for a North America only forum. However since I got no responses and this is most likely a North America only issue I'm reposting it here: Since my last software update the BS3 now displays the channel changes (of the built in ATSC tuner) the same way

Back to the test disk question...I think the opening sequence of I Am Legend on BluRay is one of my favorites in terms of the incredible detail in the HD images coupled with the incredible dynamic range in the sound design. There are plenty of better BluRay movies overall but this one scene just knocks your socks off if using the correct HD audio settings
