Hi Keith, it did not work for me, have a Beo4 + Ouverture I put the Ouverture in standby, then pressed list to bring up SHIFT on the display of the Beo4, then pressed 9 0 but the Ouverture then came out of standby and UNKNOWN flashed on the display of the Ouverture what Ouverture model no have you Harry ??

against other CD Players it stands out, but to give a quick overview, lets see.... How does Jitter sound? Jitter is audible! If a CD player has jitter it will sound like the orchestra is placed in a phone booth right between the speakers. does anyone know what freq the Ouverture uses for the CD player ?? I am not happy with the DAC chips used in the Ouverture, and the best way I can think of to avoid the amount of jitter that I'm getting is to slave the Ouverture to a decent DAC ( using the DAC as the master clock to reduce the jitter ) then I need to desolder and remove the quartz

the best idea I have seen is on ebay - item no. 260404225187 you get to use your Beo4 remote with it as well

I'm in the same boat with an MCP5500, I believe they both use the same hinge mechanism which is prone to the type of fault you mention, I was wondering how I could make them myself but gave up on the idea about 2 years ago - c'est la vie !
