Pressing link>sat on a Beolink 1000 I retain volume control. Same commands I assume?
-
These TV's are not linked but there are MCL2A's in the rooms so I am able to control the STB-C via them. The Beo4's volume control does work on a linked TV. BL1000 works both
-
MX4000 and LX4500 - it's the same on both.

Pressing link>sat on a Beolink 1000 I can still use the volume/mute control. Using the Beo4 and pressing list>link>sat, volume control is not possible. I need to press TV to get this to work and go through the list>link>sat process again to (for) e.g change SAT channels. Is there a better way of doing this with the beo4?

The previous owner must, as you say, have made an alteration to the stand. I have re-positioned it now and it returns to centre. Thanks David

Thank you for the info Sverre. I will try your suggestions and let you know if I solve the problem. David

The stand I have will not return to the centre position on standby. I am unable to programme the standby position (unlike the Avant for e.g which has three settings). Is there a mechanical solution to this?
-
Yes, these functions work in option 2 which is not really suitable for my configuration. Where there is no teletext signal I find the text button is a way of achieving this (for e.g a V.aux source) Thanks David

Is there a way to mute the picture (not switch the tube off) with the TV in option 1? Vsetup>go>picture>go mutes it briefly then it comes back on. This also happens in option 2. This is the annoying thing about beo4 operated B&O sets. With BL1000 it was simply picture>mute David

Brilliant many thanks. Power of Beoworld! David
