paddy2042: The Beo4 will communicate with other devices if you have a Lintronic Box. This is one of the best products I have bought with my B&O. What is more you don't have to have the dealer set it up for you like you do with the Beo5!!! I suspect this is to stop people setting the Beo5 up to operate other brands of TV's, DVD players etc

wtlc2zpx: The Beo5 WILL be able to control non Beo devices, but it has to be setup by the dealer. This is indicated in the manual. This feature is however targeted to non hifi devices, such as curtains, lights, etc... For AV devices, the PUC is the way to go. p. Just answered a similar question! Yes, it sounds like you need the CP251F from Lektropacks for the frame rate change. You can switch the panel using a Lintronic box and program it to take the serial output from the BS2 and turn it into a IR command to the screen

Check that the panel can handle VGA input at 50Hz otherwise it won't without extra help. From the brochure it looks like it can't - in which case you need to get a framerate converter between the panel and the BS2 (A CP251F from Lektropacks) Secondly you won't be able to switch the panel on or off from the BS2 without another box (Lintronic

355f. while you are totally correct in your statements about the D9 panel being in the BV4, I'm puzzled why you say that they are the same without the tuner - the D9 doesn't have a tuner at all - it is just a monitor. Another point to make to confirm 355fs point; why does the BV4 have speaker outputs on it - surely if B&O manufactured it

There is a small disk that screws onto the back of the eye which has two holes for screws to mount on the wall. Don't know if these can be had as a spare part from B&O - but worth a try. If not, you could get the 'in wall' fitting which may not need this disk.
