Well, the MK V is a 200 hz panel, so it should help eliminate panning issues. However, as Moxxey, i do not have a panning problem with my Mk IV, but then again it also updates twice as fast as the Mk III. If you watch a lot of sports and fast moving tv or movies, i would definitely go for the new Mk V..cant wait untill i get mine..

Hi Again We perfectly understand each other, sorry if it did not express myself clearly enough. The humming noise was present on "older" MK IV´s but the newer MK IV´s actually had a panel update (As far as i know) and hence does not hum anymore when adding Apple Tv etc. The Hd ready 7-40 you had have no Beosystem 3 and hence experience

Hi TAkktakk Sounds disturbing. The humming noice is present on all the older BV 7 panels when adding 60 hz source like the apple Tv ( maybe 50 hz, cant remember which on causes the humming :-)) This has been solved on the new MK IV sets. The other problem seems very odd. I would definetly inform my dealer and have him check if all the nessasary software

HI All So i got myself a projector but now i have a question about dvi output on the bv 7-40. I have connected a Mac mini, resolution 1080*1920 24P and everything works very well on my tv. However the projector sees the output from the tv as 1080, 60 hz, not 24??. Please tell me that the dvi out supports 24p. If i connect my mini directly to the projector
