Hello All I wrote some time ago re problems I was having with beoport and the new version of itunes... Eventually the problem was fixed by installing the new leopard operating system and latest version of BM Link... The problem was fixed, or so i thought.... (apart from the regular re boot required when net radio encountered dead links). Now a new problem

post script.. My partner has suggested that as the signal is all digital from itunes right through to the speakers..there shouldn't be any deterioration of the signal at lossless... (however Im thinking logically, that if you have a poor sound card on your computer that would effect the final result?)

Hi Simon Happy New Year to you. In short, 320 mp3 is the minimum bit rate you should use. Why spend all that money on a good sound system and beolab speakers to listen to compressed music! Where i download my sites I will only download 320 as anything less sounds terrible on my beolab 9's. When ripping from a CD i use losssless. Yes it takes up

Hello, Im not sure i agree that CD will be a dead format in a few years, particularly given the often poor quality of digital files. It is often hard to find mp 3 at higher than 256 and most are still are 128. So I'll still be buying CD's for years to come. People said vinyl would be dead 20 years ago and it is still available and growing in

Hello Thought B 3 's and a 2 myself... Listened to a range of options in my own house and thought the 9's for music was a much better option and sounded more integrated. Bought the 9's and Im very happy with them....have seen the white covers too and thinking i might go for them in White!!!! Regards David Sydney, Australia

Hi I recently had problems with beoport- in my case I updated to a new version of itunes (Im using a mac) and that caused havoc with the software. I actually thought the beoport itself was faulty- i took it into B&O and they hooked it up to their equipment- it worked perfectly, suggesting there was a problem with the computer software (i had to upgrade

I also approached my dealer, who in this case is B&O at David Jones, Elizabeth St. I spoke with Digital radio Australia who said they had flagged the issue with B&O in Melbourne. I then even went into the flag ship store in Copenhagen in September this year- they did send me a reply but could not assist. For now I'm enjoying net radio (Through

Hello I did write to B&O Denmark, who directed me to B&O in Australia, who directed me to B&O in Singapore....No answer. Working for government I understand bureaucracy, however My Minister would have my balls if I gave such responses..... I've not pursued this any further as Im busy and don't really have the time (or in some sense

Hmmm.... Sounds like I might perhaps just stick with my Beoport? While the beosound 5 looks lovely, Im not sure why I would spend thousands on a product that does exactly what beoport does minus the nice display. Maybe if i didn't have beoport I'd buy it. Now if there was a beocentre 2 variant including the functionality and screen of beosound
