Craig, It depends on the dealer whether the staff can do it or not, it's just a matter of training. It is very straight forward and any member of staff should be competent enough to carry out the update.

The simple answer is no, you can set the handset to be 'common' or 'personal' but not an individual number.

Hi, First of all, perhaps the chap at mailbox sould have suggested particular models and not just a manufacturer you could have wasted your hard earned! However you are in luck, that box is supported by the new PUC. What you need to do is get your dealer to update your TV with a new STB table created using the IR-Table Generator, it is very straight

BeoPort requires an audio master if it is to work on a link system that has a video master in it. The BeoCenter 6 is a video product so cannot be set to an A.OPT option, sadly what you have been told is incorrect.

If you go to your local dealer the cable you require is about £1.50

There is not a preset limitation, they last as long as they last. A picture tube has an expected life of around 30,000 hours, this of course does vary alot and should be used as a guide and nothing else. Based on your service counters your tube has had 24,000 hours worth of use, so has had a very good run.

The Beonic Man: 9 LEE: The Beonic Man: Personally, I don't think that looks anything like a B&O phone. I am not sure what comparison you are making but if its the BeoCom 4 then I can't see any similarities at all. The screen size is much smaller, the base is bulkier and quite different, the buttons don't resemble the BeoCom 4 at all

In the UK the warranty is 2 years, the fault you're describing is unlikely to be covered but a new cable is about £20. Whether your dealer charges anything for labour to do the repair I couldn't say.

We have all seen some really bad & lazy copies of B&O over the years - remember that awful copy of a Bsnd 9000 . Well now Binatone have gone and done this..... Binatone Tempero
