If what Jason says doesn't help then it is the black plastic clamper arm which is slightly bent and touches the spinning CD and you hear a scraping sound. It needs replacement (p/n 2854003), possibly, though less likely, only an adjustment. Not a big deal at all, but best to get both done by your dealer ...

"In my old job, i used to travel a lot and made a lot of friends, especially in the US and Asia - and when it was announced that i had got the job i had a huge amount of phone calls from them wishing me well and saying ' take good care of this company ' !!" jk1002: While I can see that Peter is in trouble with his massive collection ... He indeed might be, though I’m sure he is a very organized and unbelievably multi-tasking person who might be above average (even the American one) and devote slightly more than 9 hours a day of his average media usage to listening to his song collection - among other

Indeed, an interesting (as usual) post by Mr10% - and I agree with him also om the touch screen. (I guess he is not left handed?) Though, no matter if you are an Apple or B&O user you will end up with be same bacteria & germs (isn't it the same, Andy?) on your device.

Puncher: High prices do not necessarily reflect quality or luxury and if you like to spend a lot, just because you can and others can't then it's unlikely we'd ever be best buddies I agree with Puncher, adding an ominous question for those who don't: Have you noticed how good-humoured he always is?

moxxey: I guess that's because the latest products have symmetry Not sure if left-handed people will appreciate BS5 the same way as righties. It would have been cool if somehow the screen could be rotated (think conrol panel of BS9000) and graphics flipped (think Serene) to suit them better. Maybe it can, and they have 'R' and 'L'
