  • Re: BeoLab 3500 as a central speaker for BV7 40?

Thanks for the speedy reply, so it isn't as simple as just plug it in, change the connections on the TV menu and voila central speaker. I'll have to check the serial number as I'm not the kind of person whose happy opening up electrical things!!

  • BeoLab 3500 as a central speaker for BV7 40?

Hiya, My local dealer had a very good offer for BV7-40 MKII screen and I have since been trying to get a BeoLab 7-1 (a 7-2 won’t fit) for it, but I haven’t found a second hand one in my price range. I have a pair of BeoLab 6000’s so my question is could I use a BeoLab 3500 as a central speaker instead? The TV is on a table stand so

  • Re: Beotime

Best wife..... My wife took to my local B&O shop so I could choose between a Beotime and a Beocom 5 for my birthday (which is at the end of November). It's great having a birthday at the end of the year because B&O always bring out a 'gift' priced item for Christmas. I chose the Beocom 5 because we don't hve any B&O products

  • Re: Apple TV adds internet Radio

Aaaaargh, the upgrade wiped all the songs off my Apple TV - so just started uploading the 90gb of music which takes about 3 days over wi-fi.

  • Re: BEOCOM 5 - UK price

The full package is about £600, but if you already have a PSTN base or full BeoCom 6000 / 2 then it is compatible (I'm not sure about ISDN). I have the old large flat style PSTN box which they originally said would need have to have a firmware upgrade, but after further discussions, if you have the latest version of the BeoCom 6000 working

  • BEOCOM 5 - UK price

I've seen in a few threads people asking about the price... I just pre-ordered a Beocom 5 with the speaker base (non PSTN) from my dealer in London - I will pick it up in December: Phone UK£285 Speaker Base UK£125

  • Re: Serenata Owners

It's the marmite of all phones. Just got mine back from being repaired, the left speaker stopped on the headphones and the button in the wheel became stuck so it was almost impossible to use. Having the phone back I love it again - like a previous member wrote, listening to great quality music and not worrying about missing calls is great. I do

  • Re: B & O starting to fall behind?

My new neighbour has just offered to babysit so he can watch my BV7-40 MKII - so it can't all be that bad. B&O is not about the latest technology it's about being beautifully designed and well made. It's not perfect and it's a shame some of new items look a bit ordinary (Besound 6 comes to mind and the pictures of new phone aren't

  • Re: Please help - Virgin V+ box swtiches itself off using BV7 STB

Thanks for the suggestion FISHTA, I checked the settings, it was already set to ON, tried turning it OFF just to see what happened and it didn't make any difference. My dealer did warn me that the responsiveness of the remote could be slow, it is just very frustrating having to have the silver cabinet door open so that I can use the V+ remote to

  • Re: Please help - Virgin V+ box swtiches itself off using BV7 STB

Thanks for the replies. Having spent a bit more time with it I think the TV is just very slow to respond to the remote through the STB. I can't stop the V+ switching off and Go followed by 0 doesn't seem to help bring it back on either. It only seems to switch off the first time I go to DTV and then try and change channel, once back on it is
