You connected your BS5 to TV DVI output. Have a look into the manual. Stefan

You will find SERVICE MENU pressing MENU - MENU - 0 - 0 - GO. MONITOR - MONITOR INFORMATION. Here you will find an ERROR list. Maybe there are ML errors....(?) MENU - MENU - go to OPTIONS - RED - GO. Here you have CUSTOMER SERVICE MENU. BS3 based BV7 (MK III, IV, V...) I don`t think it`s necessary to make a full reinstall. Just set your system to standby

It`s much easier. If you have a Revox recorder: http://revoxbeo.homepage.bluewin.ch/1839.html Or a Lintronic box should do it. just connect datalink pin of the 7pin audio link cable to the IR input of the TT 455. I tested that with datalink pin on Scart socket at Beovisions and it works. But I never tried that on Beomasters. www.lintronic.dk Stefan

I don`t know where yoa are located, but as far as I know it is not allowed in Europe (anymore) to loop through mains. That`s why there is a cover on the plug. You have to connect BV and BL separately to the mains. Stefan

If I understand correctly the whole system worked properly before decorating? As far as I know a flashing stdby light usually indicates that the BV tries to `communicate`with external devices, but it`s not working properly. I would disconnect ALL masterlink devices - BV7 (40 - MK II?), BV10, BV1, BS5... for 5 - 10 minutes. Maybe it`s better to disconnect

The Powerlink-AUX cable is not so complicated. You `ll need two 7pin DIN plugs and a stereo cable (2 wires and shield). Solder the wires to pin 3 and 5 (signal left - right) and shield pin 2 (ground). Here is a lot of of useful info: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/misc2.htm#Audio%20Aux%20Link%20/%20PowerLink%20connections: Should be no problem for

Position 1 - 9 are presets. It`s the same as STAND 1 - 9 on Beo4. Position 1 is left, position 5 nearly mid position, position 9 is right. But you can rename the buttons, for example instead of "Position 3" "Sofa"... Stefan

Beo would say no, because BM7000 is an audiomaster that is not N.MUSIC capable, because BS5 encore is an audiomaster too as a standalone product (for now). But it should work. I would add an MCL2 AV box to MCL out of your BM7000, set BM7000 to A.OPT 0, MCL2 AV to L.OPT 4 and connect your Beolabs to Powerlink sockets of the MCL box. You can control the

Go to: MODE - SETTINGS . Press right - right - GO . Go to: MAINTENANCE - MUSIC SERVER - select yes/no As far as I remember..... Stefan

Welcome to Beoworld. You will find a lot of information about wiring, options, setups... on the Beotech site:http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/wiring2.htm What Beo do you want to replace? Beomaster (amp) or Beolab (speaker)? Powerlink cable is built for line level signals, it`s connecting preamp out (Beomaster or Beovision) and poweramp in (Beolab). It
