I had one. My Dad won it in a raffle. Very nostalgic.
Should this be reported to eBay?
He does have a positive previous history of selling B&O though this is strange as his selling history shows him as based in USA, UK and Lithuania! Still wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

"it came off in the wash"?
unless the coils have actually melted and have short circuits.
THIS GUY doesn't do repairs - he just splits them up for parts and sells them. Currently splitting Penta II's and is in the USA.

Download the service manual from this site. This has dis-assembley instructions and shows you which screws to remove to open the Beocenter rather like a hood of a car - it's a great design. Once opened you can locate the nut that fell into the unit and get to the small rubber bands that were your original mission. Two words of warning - try not

Very glad you got it all original. These Beolit's are worth it! I must say that Trigi's (Peter) non selfish atitude to give away a very rare and much sort after speaker is remarkable. What a stunningly nice fellow

Make sure the glass touch panels in each unit is securely fixed as they have a habit of falling off when wall mounted. The tape holding them fails with age.

I have a couple of mains plugs for a pair of Beolab 5's. If anyone can assist in supplying the rest........
