You know what gave the final "GO" to buy these? The review here on Beoworld... I think I've read it at least 20 times ... B&O should really post this on their website, its so great! 30 hours to go.... and counting
-
Yep you guessed it, its a pair of Beolab 5s :-) I feel like a little boy getting his first bike .... @9Lee: I really was thinking about that wine-thing for the neighbours, or a sign: "Serious testing in progress.. Do not disturb!" I wasn't that nervous for a long time... Will post some pictures if I can hold the camera still ....
-
Thinking back I still can remember the first time I've heard them.... Now, almost 6 1/2 years later, its just only 48 hours until they will appear in my living room... Goodbye my loved 8000s, goodbye Lab2 ... something big & powerful is on its way... I hope it will be as mind-blowing as it was 6 years ago... I can't await ....

36 currently, no kids... the more I talk about Beolab 5, the more my wife talks about kids.... strange... regards Stephan

@Daniel: Ministry! ... Good to hear that there is other stuff playing on some B&O equipments than the usual classic :-) Go and check "Who was in my room tonight" from the allmighty Butthole Surfers (sorry, thats the bands name :-) ) , if you like that sound... Btw. its the same singer as in "Jesus build my hotrod" Rock on! Stephan

One advice: Don't do it! The BL3500 isn't designed for that task and way too underpowered. I've heard the BL3500 as center, tried 2 x BL 4000 and finally sold everything and got me a BL7-4. In a 5.1 Setup, the voice, conversations, whatever comes from the front, the surround from the speakers surrounding you, so the voice should never disappear

Its such a shame that B&O screwed up so badly with their mobile phones. Having an 2G iPhone since the first month of release I cannot stand the hype anymore to be honest. It does have cool applications, it works like promised in many ways, overall a groundbreaking product BUT everyone has it... I'm really thinking about buying a Serenata just

Hmmm... never thought of this option but sounds cheap and actually doable...
