I have also watched a lot of stuff slide by Soren. Mostly because I just dont have anywhere else to put the stuff, but mostly because the two or three pieces left I do want I am most likely going to have to buy on Eurobay or sweet talk a Beoworld member out of theirs. Either way I am looking at coughing up some crazy postage fees from now on.

Cant really see in detail the wear on the push panels, perhaps what I am looking at is 30+ years accumulation of oil dust dirt and grime, then add oxidation to the mix and your left with a dull dirty looking control panel. If thats the case the good news is that it will all clean up nicely with the right soap and some patience and a bit of elbow grease

One must have the remotes to complete the sets !!! Recently picked me up a pair of white CX-100 in pretty good shape cosmetically and the surrounds are still together but sticky to the touch.

I have enjoyed following the progress on this thread. Great work Geoff.
...and Purdue, correct?
My niece graduated from Purdue back in 2008 and I think my dad may have got his Masters in Civil Engineering there as well back in the late 50's. Things aint been the same since Gene Keady hung it up. I miss the comb over and his troweled up wife. I bet Mary Kay made a fortune off
