Thanks for the information. Can I ask how good the control of the S75 is with this controller? Are all the features available on the original remote available on a Beo4 and easy to work out? Also, would you include the original remote and does your price of £90 include delivery (Surrey) Thanks

Excuse my ignorance but I'm just about to embark on masterlinking for the first time (3 Avants in a small flat). Is the aerial part of this cable supposed to give you tv reception from the roof aerial, or does it replace the RF cable I'd need to run between the Avants to be able to share video sources? Thanks

Is that the only one Beobuddy? Its just that since I went to the effort of fitting a new STB-C chip I'd like to use it for something! I don't need freeview or any type of DVR. It won't work with the V+ box. Would love it if I could use it with a normal DVD player rather than shelling out for a PS3 which is a bit over the top since I don't

Could you let me know which Panasonic DVD player you're willing to sell with the DVD Controller

ajames, My local dealer was the same. In fact, he told me that no more chips were being made for the Avant. Actually, let me name and shame him....Kingston Upon Thames store! I just contacted another dealer in a different area and they were more than happy to supply the chip. In fact, they even suggested I do it myself since its such a simple job to

OK, I have now fitted that latest Western Europe chip (4.01 I think) and as Keith said, it does NOT control the V+ box! I am now pretty much resided to the fact that I won't be able to do much about this (short of buying a new B&O TV). I am now looking for a normal SD DVD player that is controllable using the STB. I've had a look through

I contacted B&O directly and they have confirmed that the V+ box is not supported! I'm a bit annoyed as my dealer supplied the latest chip (4.01) on the basis that it would work! I'm now stuck in a contract with Virgin (would move to Sky otherwise) so I have to find a solution. I considered the Beo5 but I assume that won't help me control

There is an update available which has both Sky digital and Sky HD in the list. You need to change the STB-C chip rather than simply upgrade the software. In the UK the latest chip is 4.01. Its pretty easy to do but you will have to take the back of the Avant off and expose all the gubbins inside. It then just a case of carefully pulling the old chip

Thanks for your help as always Keith. I guess its a Beo5 for me then! Has anyone in the UK managed to get a good deal on one sine the dealers are struggling at the moment? They don't seem to come up on the second hand market very often.
