Excuse my ignorance but I'm just about to embark on masterlinking for the first time (3 Avants in a small flat). Is the aerial part of this cable supposed to give you tv reception from the roof aerial, or does it replace the RF cable I'd need to run between the Avants to be able to share video sources? Thanks

OK, I have now fitted that latest Western Europe chip (4.01 I think) and as Keith said, it does NOT control the V+ box! I am now pretty much resided to the fact that I won't be able to do much about this (short of buying a new B&O TV). I am now looking for a normal SD DVD player that is controllable using the STB. I contacted B&O directly and they have confirmed that the V+ box is not supported! I'm a bit annoyed as my dealer supplied the latest chip (4.01) on the basis that it would work! There is an update available which has both Sky digital and Sky HD in the list. You need to change the STB-C chip rather than simply upgrade the software. In the UK the latest chip is 4.01. Its pretty easy to do but you will have to take the back of the Avant off and expose all the gubbins inside. It then just a case of carefully pulling the old chip
