  • Re: Connecting BeoSound 9000 to Non-B&O cinema system.....

Wouldn't it be best to use digital coaxial, if the cinema amp. has a spdif input?

  • Re: Beolink 7000 Battery replacement

Well I have no idea, it's not a good idea to open the Beolink 7000 unless you are good with small electronics and mechanics, It's rather complicated. I had the same TV repair shop to fix the internal battery. This was more expansive, since they had to open up the unit, perhaps 60e...

  • Re: Beolink 7000 Battery replacement

Not sure... I had mine replaced by a TV repair shop, they built the battery themselves, since it's made up of standard cells. I think it cost me around 30 euros to have it done. I have also replaced the internal battery, so if you Beolink 7000 battery is completely dead, turns off as soon as you lift it from the charger, the internal battery might

  • Re: B&O 9000 MkII or MkIII

Ahhh, I'm stupid, I better admit it... Didn't notice you guys where talking about the MK2 big-red-power-button... Oh yeah, now I remember the red button. I don't have it on mine though. The MK3 has the power button below CD button nr 6, or under the flip-up-cover control panel. Sorry about that.

KingOfSnake: If you are looking at the unit from the front, on the left-hand side, two inches from the bottom Hmmm, I'm not so sure I'm following you :D I have a power button with a red dot on it, it's exactly the same as the disc-buttons.

  • Re: Are you 100% happy with your B&O setup?

Chris: bayerische: I just set up my iPhone as a remote to my iTunes, and connected it to the BS9000 aux via the airport base station. Man this is SWEET! I'm using AIRFOIL to do the same, very good and you could use any player on your computer, works also with Beoplayer. Give it a try OK, thanks I'll try that. Does Beoplayer work on Mac?

  • Re: B&O 9000 MkII or MkIII

KingOfSnake: The only noticeable difference is the red power button on the MKII as opposed to being concealed on the MKIII. Software can be updated, N.MUSIC isn't exclusive to the MKIII. Properly cleaned and maintained, there are no reliability issues with the MKII and MKIII models are often sold at a premium. What red power button? Where is it

  • Re: Beolab 5 power output

Christian: To my knowledge a 10 A fuse does not blow immediately if you draw more than 10 A from it. In fact, IIRC, you can draw 12 A for half an hour, 15 A for couple of minutes and 20 A for a couple of seconds, before the fuse blows. Sounds like a long time... What's the idea with a 10A fuse then?
