wtlc2zpx: rgbyhkr: So now we have bits and pieces floating around in a variety of threads here. Any chance someone who has been keeping a very close eye on all BS5/BM5 related info can summarize what we know (or at least believe) about them and possibly include relevant links and any pics? A few of us have suggested that a Beoworld Wiki is created to

futurist: About three months ago I had the CD mechanism on my BS 9000 replaced when the unit was serviced. I've only just taken it out of its box for the first time after servicing to check that it is working (I know its a long delay but its a long story!). I put a couple of CDs in and they span and appeared to play fine, but I didn't actually

Mr10Percent: Not sure about that. If you send your mum's best cut-glass crystal, insurance may be a problem. Peter : Purely cosmetic - worth asking B&O if any parts available - I have a suspicion not. Not very obvious anyway! I don't look at the top of my Pentas much anyway! These parts are still available from B&O spares stock.

The BC9500 is compatible with both active and passive speakers but I suspect the most cost effective option is the one that you suggest. S45-2 are excellent speakers and usually available for just a few pounds. Indeed, I gave a pair away recently!!

Lift the clamp and look at the underside. It is not rocket science so all should now be obvious. The new clamper will fit to the existing hinge. If I remember correctly you should only need to remove six screws to complete the whole job!
