After a beautiful meal at Canet de Roussillon and a night of chilled out drinking and laughing at a beautiful open air bar on the beach, it was time to get back to our hotel in Perpignan. Tomorrow it's the last day. Uncle Bulgaria is going to try to get to Valencia - and it's me driving..

Here we are - Gordon mounts the car rather like a hippo would mount a unicycle... and Uncle Bulgaria gets what's coming to him. The handbrake shoes have whiffed a bit today, and the clutch has seen some action (not forgetting the engine and it's multiple thrashings) - but it's got us here.
