• Re: Beolink 7000 and BC9500

I take it you just get no contact. Possibly a fault in the transceivers - these are complex remotes and are getting less reliable with age. Ridax seems a bit of a whizz mending these!

  • Re: Vintage Deal from a Dealer!
As being a Tandberg fan, what is BM1600 Tandberg Type? I have seen this reference somewhere before and couldn't find any info about that!
It is used by some of us to descrive the Beomaster 1400 and 1600 of the late 60s. They have a certain resemblance to some Tandberg models - though probably not

  • Re: Beocord VX7000 - remote ?

Yes - there is a place in the menu where you can change between the Beo4 and the Beolink 1000 I seem to remember. Of course it is the TV that is really being used.

What type number is yours? I'll have a look around tonight. You are silver already so you don't need to upgrade.

Not unusual! If you are a nice chap and are friendly with your dealer, they will often ring when they have some odd bits! I was offered a Beomaster 1600 (tandberg type) and some speakers the other day - declined as I really don't need any more! But very kind of him to offer!

  • Re: faulty MMC-2?

Certainly looks a bit odd. I have compared the angle with a couple of mine and they are the same as your MMC5. I suggest the suspension is not correct. To get to this, one needs to cut the front of the cartridge off though so any repair is obvious. Axel repairs these by this route. I doubt there was any funny business here but I do think this cartridge

  • Re: Beocom 5

It may do but the table is from B&O. I can think of no reason why it shouldn't have some function though.

  • Re: B&O Ambiophonic Stereo Adaptor System

Some B&O amplifiers have this built in. Here is a link to a forum with a nice simple explanation! Look up Hafler ambience if you want more!

  • Re: Beginner

The advantage of the Beoport is that I can listen to the music all over the house. I can control with either a Beo4 or an iPod Touch/iPhone.It also has Beolab 3s attached to it and acts as a separate music system. It would work the way you want though.

  • Re: Distortion Problem, Beogram 1800

Thoughts: Is the tracking weight OK? Is the loading on your pre-amp correct? Should be 47Kohm (I seem to remember!) and the capacitance is also important - I'll have to look that up at home!)
