I noticed that when I put in the MMS settings, the WAP settings changed to the same as imput for the MMS and the browser stopped working.I had to set up two profiles in the phone, under Connection Settings, one assigned to WAP and one assigned to MMS. I do not know why when both were set to the MMS settings it did not work, but does not matter as all

What is the latest software version? Any reason to have a year old Serene updated?

Thanks, I thought I had done that when I first purchased the phone. However, now that I have done it, I can receive but when I try to send, after a minute or two I get a message thatsays "multimedia message could not be sent"?

I have a Serene that I am using in the US but am unable to get MMS messages to work. The phone says "multimedia messaging not available" My service plan does include MMS and it works on my other phone. Email, internet, and text messaging all work fine on the Serene. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I was quite intrigued when I saw this topic. I have been curious about Crestron and B and O for years. It is something exciting and worth considering.

If I connect the sub as suggested in here, will I get full bass? i.e. does the Avant send 100% of the bass signal to the front speakers? I assume it does when set to Beolab 5 as there is no need for a sub with 5s. I also assume full bass goes to both speakers, left and right, as the switch on the speaker determines left or right so there is nothing

Have you turned the 6000s on in the Avant's on screen menu?

I agree the 9s are too low for rear speakers. That is one of the reasons I like the 1s so much as rear speakers. I have tried the experiment of turning off the front speakers and was surprised how much sound came out of the rears, more than I thought there would be.

I can't comment on th Beolab 5 as I have only listened to it briefly. However, everybody seems to think the 5 is better than the 9 and I can comment on the 9 compared to the 1. Our dealer allows us 30 days to try out new products in our home. I was thus was able to set up the 9s next to our 1s and switch back and forth for an extended period. The
