  • Re: Sony BR in BV7

Peter : Perfectly true. The link room uses an RF signal so the picture will be SD - and probably not that great SD either. And I hope they can do something about reducing the size of the RF distribution box (or whatever it is called). It's huge and I'm only sending a signal less than 3 metres between two rooms! Although I have a lot of B&O

a2bur: I hope I'm wrong but don't think you can see anything connected via Hdmi to the video master on a link TV . As more equipment is connected with Hdmi the link facility may be come useless and B&o will lose one of it's main selling points unless it can be addressed . Richard You can. I'm watching Sky HD via masterlink, when

KingOfSnake: Isn't the external PS3 controlled by the PUC on the Beosystem 3 allowing control from link rooms? Only if you get some kind of Bluetooth/infrared converter. There's no infrared on the PS3. I've got mine connected to the BV7-40, which is linked to the BV8-26 in the kitchen. The *only* thing I can't do is control or even view

Christian: I would much rather have an internal DVD, than an external. The up-scaling in BS3 can be customized and completely matched to the DVD, which could provide a better result. True, but you don't need to up-scale Blu-ray DVDs, so playback via the Playstation 3 or other external device is fine. I might go for the internal Blu-ray player if

  • Re: any info on a BV7 that's larger than 40"?

KingOfSnake: Moxxey, try a Topfield 5810 PVR which upscales SD to 1080i and gives a very pleasing effect on your BangVision. The BS3 also upscales the incoming signal, so my BangVision has this facility built in. It does a pretty decent job on Freeview. However, anyone with a larger 52" screen will notice more pixelisation and 'effects'

Beolab: Moxxey if you see it in real life, it look´s much better I can imagine it does. My next B&O TV will be all-black for sure.

Dude1: Not entirely sure of pixelation on a BangVision....maybe replace your aerial... Eh? I think you may need to watch a SD signal on a BV7-40 MKIII (1080p screen). It has to be scaled up for the LCD. Please. Can you stop being the only one in the world to refer to B&O kit as 'BangVision'. Why?

  • Re: any info on a BV7 that's larger than 40"?

Dude1: Bang will be introducing a 52" version shortly.. This isn't the 'shortly' that was discussed in November 2007, before I bought my BV7-40 MKIII? We were discussing this ages ago - my argument against a 52" BV7 is that the 40" struggles with a high-quality SD signal - the norm for the UK and Europe - and a 52" would

Tom: Sorry Fredrik, but I think this looks awful! I am sure that it sounds very good, but I really don't like the BV7-BL10 combination. It doesn't look right at all, you're correct. I love the all-black BV7 (and wish I'd gone for this option with my BV7-40, darn), but an all-black BL7.4 would look much better. Still, everyone's tastes

  • Re: Anyone in Göteborg for the presentation of the BS5 ?

mr_anders_son: dont buy it then simple as that Mr Anderson, we're all passionate here about B&O. However, if you can't face negativity or a debate about the product, then why bother remarking that we shouldn't buy the product, simply as we don't want to make do with a huge Beomaster 5? I'm sorry that you believe that the design
