Today I picked up a Beomaster 6000. Everything works apart from the bulbs or the volume and tone controls. So I removed the top plate and tested the bulbs with a multimeter. All of them seem to have blown, but I am not 100% sure this is the case. What I did try was swapping each of them with a working one from the tuner section. No change, I have voltage

It would not work as you still need a Neutral feed. The internal electronics of the LC2 require both Live & Neutral to work. As far as I know the only way you could replace a standard light switch with an LC2 would be to have the wiring from the light fitting to the switch replaced so that you have both Live and Neutral. Dillen: I've seen a few 4002's where the cutout in the bottom frame was made and then covered with a black sticker, no switch mounted. Maybe these were made later than the others. Martin My first 4002 was like that, with no switch. Craig

Hello, and welcome to Beoworld. We had a similar problem with an MX2000. That was down to a dry joint on the small PCB that has the I.R. reciever on it. If you gave the plastic cover over it a slight tap it would work for a while then stop again. Craig
