You are correct - the BeoLink Wireless 1 simply extends the Master Link connections across the air. And as Master Link does not support video signals all you will get across the air is the audio associated with the video and the control signals to control it. Because my MacBook uses HDMI I do not get its PLEX video signal transmitted to my link rooms

My conclusion would be that if all you wanted was music stored in iTunes, then BM-Link is once again a contender;
