our housekeeper/nanny decided to change a CD
time to change the nanny When my BeoSound 4 door gets stuck I power it off at the wall and apply gentle pressure to slide it into its home position and then power on the wall socket again. Mind you that process is what is described in the installation manual since

  • Re: Connections

    Take a look at Beoworld's technical micro-site, and on this page at the bottom you will see the wiring for a 7 pin DIN plug for a Datalink connection between a BeoMaster and its sources e.g. a BeoGram: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/misc1.htm I checked the background of the BeoGram 1700 on Beocentral http://www.beocentral.com/products/bg1700 and
I think their signal is not strong enough. When I do some test, i can see the signal of a beo4 is stronger then the signal from the beotime.
Just a thought ... how long have you had the BeoTime ... and are the batteries brand new ? I wonder if there is something about the BeoTime that causes it to drain

  • Re: convenient way to send video from other sources to my kitchen tv ?

    You are correct - the BeoLink Wireless 1 simply extends the Master Link connections across the air. And as Master Link does not support video signals all you will get across the air is the audio associated with the video and the control signals to control it. Because my MacBook uses HDMI I do not get its PLEX video signal transmitted to my link rooms

    I am glad you have made some progress; I hope you froward the Apple crashreport to Apple ... who knows, it may help About this question ...
One other thing, when I assign the linkplayer menu to dtv in settings, the menu dropdown-list shows dvd instead of the grayed out dtv and also the program responds to dvd rather

  • Re: Beo4VRC vs BM-LINK

    Inside the BM-Link installation folder is an Applescript directory that contains a one-page PDF that states:
Support for Custom AppleScript in BM-Link NOTE! This is a feature made available for your convenience only, no support is given for custom written scripts. This feature is used for the included Front Row support. To use your custom script
is front row with fast scroll working?
Front Row works, but *not* with fast scrolling. I also tested FR via LinkPlayer and there it does work with fast scrolling; and as fast as with my Apple remote. I repeated the test to make sure, BM-Link and LinkPlayer a second time each. I also shielded the BV8's IR

  • Re: BM-Link now available for Snow Leopard

    As promised, I tested Net-Radio and it worked fine once I actually connected the internet (*doh*) The BeoSound 4 displayed the details of each of the stations I "tuned" into I also tested FrontRow, smoothly invoked, and operated. My conclusion would be that if all you wanted was music stored in iTunes, then BM-Link is once again a contender;
